CLASSIFICATION OF PRINTING PAPER
The article proves that existing paper classifications don’t comply with modern assortment of printing paper, especially by foreign producers. On the basis of analysis of domestic and foreign classifications of paper, modern assortment and requirements which are given by specialists of paper industry, polygraphists and consumers, the classification of printing paper by different features is presented. It is determined that the most important features during paper classification in determination of the groups, sub-group and the kind is the application sphere, printing method fiber contents, coverage presence, surface decoration, mass per 1 sq meter, etc.
