ECOLOGICAL SAFETY OF POLYMERIC MATERIALS ON THE BASE OF POLYSTYRENE
 
The article presents the characteristic of the rules of migration of harmful components from polystyrene plastics and products made from it with the purpose of prevention of their negative influence on the human organism. The results show that polystyrene materials which are brought into Ukraine are chemically stable, that signifies their positive sanitary-hygienic properties.

SAFETY EVALUATION OF SAUCE PRODUCTS
 
The new sauces "Soniachnyi", "Balans", "Gorets" and "Veselka", produced on the bases of composition mixtures of protein-fat additive "Super" ECO®, gum arabic (FІBREGUM™), pectin GRINDSTED YF 738, calcium lactate and traditional analogs "Molochniy", "Tkemali", "Bilyi" and "Yabluchnyi" have been studied for safety. It was determined that the content of toxic elements, mycotoxins,  pesticides, radionuclides, and the microbiological indicators do not exceed the norms set for such products and are safe after 24 hours of storage. Normative and technological documents for the new sauces were developed and approved.

The article analyzes and theoretically proves the factors which influence the long-term storage of radish. Different means of storage were researched, and the best one was chosen according to the volume of container, thickness of polyethylene film, amount of losses, intensity of breathing and content of gas in radish.

The research of change of properties of shoe synthetic leather is conducted at hydrolysis and light thermal aging. It is experimentally well-proven that leather, made on water solution of polyurethane in consumer properties is not worse than leather produced on the bases of PEUR, and it is ecologically safe in consumption.

Chemical composition analysis results for school-age children ration in the conditions of sanatorium-resort establishment have been shown. The necessity of substantial ration correction has been grounded, taking into account digestibility, synergy, and interaction of substances that are part of the food stuffs, and contemporary needs of growing organism in some vitamins and microelements.
